fuck yes.

you really shouldn’t reach out and touch anyone without asking first, and sure as HELL do not ask someone you don’t know >:C

If I had a nickle for every time a non black person has grabbed at my hair like I’m some sort of fluffy puppy, I’d have enough to build my own torture dungeon.

I’d never heard of this happening until internets told me it does in the US, I don’t know if it happens here, but people have liked to boing my curls, that’s 95% consentual though

It’s not something I’ve heard of happening in England much either, if at all, so I’d assumed it was an American thing, too.
Apparently people have manners here.

Okay so back when I was like …. seven there was this kid in my class named Amous who had this massive fro - ( he was African American) and being a little white girl I HAD NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THAT IN REAL LIFE. And he always sat right in front of me, so, not only was it hard to see but I would always be like … very much wanting to touch this thing. So one say I’m like. Hey. Amous can I … can I touch it? And he said yes, but only if he could touch mine too. (I had long white blond hair.) So we did and I found a dollar in his fro because he said he liked to keep things in there and that was his lunch money.
